Declaration on Relations with Neighboring Countries and Border Security
October 14, 2021

1. The National Unity Government (NUG) of the Union of Myanmar adheres to an independent and active foreign policy alongside our vision to establish a people-centered and values-driven federal democratic union.
   ၁။ ပြည်ထောင်စု မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတော် ၊ အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရသည် ပြည်သူဗဟိုပြု ၍ ဖယ်ဒရယ်ဒီမိုကရေစီပြည်ထောင်စု စံတန်ဖိုးများကို အခြေခံသည့် “လွတ်လပ် တက်ကြွသော နိုင်ငံခြားရေးမူဝါဒ “ ကို လက်ကိုင်ကျင့်သုံးသည်။
2. The NUG especially commits to maintain friendly relations with our neighboring countries to ensure close cooperation in promoting our respective bilateral interests.
   ၂။ အထူးသဖြင့် အိမ်နီးချင်း နိုင်ငံများနှင့် အစဥ်အလာ ချစ်ကြည်ရင်းနှီးမှု ကို ဆက်လက်ထိမ်းသိမ်းရေး ၊ နှစ်နိုင်ငံအကျိုးစီးပွား ရှိရေး ရှေးရှုကာ ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများ မြှင့်တင်ရေးကို အခိုင်အမာရည်သန်သည်။
3. It has come to our attention that some foreign Non-State Armed Groups (NSAG) have been settling inside Myanmar territory with the help of the military junta. The military junta takes advantage of these groups and uses them to fight the People’s Defense Forces (PDFs).
   ၃။ ယခုအခါ – အိမ်နီးချင်း နိုင်ငံအား ဆန့်ကျင်ပုန်ကန်လျက်ရှိသောလက်နက်ကိုင်အဖွဲ့အချို့ သည် အာဏာသိမ်း စစ်ကောင်စီ ၏ အကာအကွယ်ဖြင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင်းအခြေချလျက် ရှိသည်ကို လည်းကောင်း ၊ စစ်ကောင်စီ တပ်များနှင့် ပူးပေါင်းလျက် ပြည်သူ့ကာကွယ်ရေး တပ်မတော်အား တိုက်ခိုက်ရာတွင် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက် လျက်ရှိသည်ကို လည်းကောင်း တွေ့ရှိရသည်။
4. As a responsible regional partner, we reiterate our commitment to our neighbors in setting-up cross border mechanisms, policies, and infrastructures to maintain border stability and security. Therefore, the NUG declares that we will not allow entities considered by our neighbors as a threat to their national security to settle inside Myanmar’s territory.
   ၄။ တာဝန်သိ ဒေသတွင်းနိုင်ငံအစိုးရတစ်ရပ်အနေဖြင့် နယ်စပ်ဒေသ အခြေခံအဆောက်အုံဆိုင်ရာ လုပ်ထုံးလုပ်နည်းများ ၊ မူဝါဒများ ပြင်ဆင်ဆောင်ရွက်ရာတွင် နယ်စပ်ဒေသတည်ငြိမ် ရေးနှင့်လုံခြုံရေးကို ထိမ်းသိမ်းနိုင်ရေး ကို အလေးထားကြောင်းထပ်လောင်းအတည်ပြုလိုသည်။ သို့ဖြစ်ပါ၍အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေး အစိုးရသည် အိမ်နီးချင်းနိုင်ငံများ အားဆန့်ကျင် ပုန်ကန်ရန် ရည်ရွယ်ချက်ဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားသော လက်နက်ကိုင် အဖွဲ့အစည်းများအား မြန်မာနိုင်ငံအတွင်း အမှီပြု အခြေချခြင်း ကို လက်ခံခွင့်ပြုမည်မဟုတ်ကြောင်း ထုတ်ပြန်ကြေညာအပ်သည်။
