“The fact that the military council has increased air combat is not a military strength, but rather a reliance on the air force due to the poor condition of the army. Air combat is not a decisive factor in the battlefield.
“The main strength of the battle is the extent to which the NUG and EAO can cooperate,” said U Than Soe Naing, a political and military analyst. He gave this answer when asked by U Khet Aung Kyaw of BNN about the military council’s recent escalation of air combat, including the bombing of Anantpa village last Sunday.
