Finland decides to join NATO despite Russian threats

The Finnish government has decided to apply for NATO membership despite Russia’s various threats, including nuclear.

The Finnish government has said it is not interested in Russia’s threat to join NATO and has a full defense force that can respond to the threat. He was speaking at a joint press conference with Finnish President Sauli Niinistö and Prime Minister Sanna Marin.

The Finnish Foreign Minister and Defense Minister also addressed the press conference.
